Pet Hair Revisited

Here at The Car Bar we like to make sure that the job is done right the first time. So, when a customer asks to have every last little pet hair removed, the job should look a little something like this:

The interior must be completely pulled out.Getting under the seats is nearly impossible without removing them first.

Pet hair is tricky. It gets buried in the carpet fibers, collects under seats, and settles into places you never knew existed in your car. If not completely removed, smells and hair will continually plague your car.

A job like this could take you all day. Literally, all day! We are more than happy to take this on for you. This is of those situations where I highly recommend you drop your car off, head home, pour yourself your favorite beverage, and think about how much work you are not having to do at the moment. It’s a great feeling. Give us a call, let us make your life easier and you can have all the credit for the clean car.

Pets & Your Car

As pet owners, most of us will take our animals wherever we go. Whether it’s a quick trip to the store or a long weekend at the beach, animals are a large part of our everyday life. Unfortunately, they are not our car's best friend. The hair and fur cover the seats making them look like custom seat covers, odor follows them everywhere, their coats carry all the mud, sand, and dirt that they come in contact with, and they are instinctively drawn to lick every window in the car. All that and we have not even talked about when they mistake your car for the toilet.

My wife and I have a 3 year old Border collie named “Swaj”. He is our little boy and the best dog ever! (We formed a committee and took a survey; he won unanimously so you cannot contest the results!) He literally travels with my wife everywhere; to the gym, to the store, to coffee, and anywhere else she may go. Needless to say, her car's interior has seen better days. We will just say Swaj has taken an artistic license with her car; his white hair covers our black cloth interior. He has also had a few accidents in the car. He once ate something that upset his stomach and had three accidents in one day. Fun!

We can’t help but love our little poop factory. The problem is the car. What are we supposed to do with all of the hair, dander and dog poo ? That’s where The Car Bar came to our rescue. Dog hair is very difficult to remove. A vacuum cleaner will only leave you frustrated and rubbing a hole through the carpet while you chant “I know this will come out!”

The Car Bar meticulously removed all the dog hair using special brushes, tools, and shampoo, cleaned the windows, and dressed the dash. The hair and dander was gone and ready for all that our little pooch can dish out. (The clean windows were the first casualty though; apparently dogs absolutely must taste all the windows in order to initiate the car.)

Next we had to deal with the “biological” waste. Apparently, if not treated properly, material is left behind and will cause future and worse odor. At The Car Bar we use a special enzyme that eats the bacteria that causes the odor and sanitation hazard. There is no more odor or fecal matter left behind!

This is a job that I was happy to not have do myself. It was comforting knowing that my wife’s car was in the hands of a professional and knowledgeable company, The Car Bar!
